Gynecomastia

How would a male know if he's got gynecomastia, or if he's just a bit fat or something?
Since my teenage years(im now 50) Ive always been self conscious of my 'moobs'. Never been a problem with my partners, but women do tend to be a bit more 'accepting' than men of their partners.
However, now at 50 and no longer in my prime, Im fatter than I'd like to be, not as slim or muscular than Id like to be but still have the body that has haunted me for years. Im sure that I have tits... or if AB filters work , t !ts.
I gave up on doctors long ago
Im not even particularly embarressed about it anymore.
Would just like to know that it may be something that I could do something about

Whether you think it's worth £3000 (I assume that's for both), I don't know.

Gynaecomastia is a condition, not an illness. It's simply the medical term for excessive development of the breasts in men. If you've got man boobs then you HAVE got gynaecomastia because that's what the word means!
So it's likely that you've got a minor hormonal imbalance, which is fairly common in people who're overweight and with people who over-indulge in alcohol (amongst other causes). Simply getting older can also be a factor

Since it's not an illness then, unless the condition is particularly causing you problems in some way, there's no need for any treatment.
