Well thank goodness that's done and dusted for 10 years ! Actually I was reluctant to eat anything after, although I was starving, because my colon was so clean...... But I did. Anyway, the doctor says there is nothing to worry about , just a few more diverticulis, but just to carry on eating healthily. I had a nice little sleep while they were poking away. The absolute worse is the prep.

Was it easier than you anticipated?

Glad it's done and dusted for you.
Good news
Great news, Samuraisan..:-)...take care x
I think the prep is awful - but did think it had changed taste in 12 years. How many satchets did you have to take Sammy.
And great news of course so I guess it is worth it.

Ummm, I have had it done a couple of times in the past, about 10 years ago and had no problem with the actual intervention. It is just the prep. is awful and can't get any better. Jennyjoan, I had to take 2 sachets, and drink 3 litres of water in between, and the taste of the sachets is certainly much better than 10 years ago, it used to make me gag then. Certainly worth having done, but ghastly !
but you did get sedation which was great hey-ho.
Well done Sam.. You can relax now!

Oh yes Jenny, it must be awful without. No dignity lost or pain at all. Although I know I have nothing different to what they have all seen 1,000s times before.
