If someone takes heart tablets after a heart attack, can the person still die from a heart attack?

After a heart attack, the muscle of the heart is damaged and susceptible to further attacks which caused the initial damage. Heart tablets only minimise the chances of futher attacks..MINIMISE.....no guarantees.

sorry that is a bit anarchic but

if you take a pill - does it mean you wont get ill ?
