I'm not sure if its just me, thinks this way, but does it really matter how many people come to your funeral, the deceased is not going to know a lot about how many people are there.

When DH died it was just me and my sisters alone.(his Mum predeceased him and his stepfather wasn't up to travelling) and nobody else.....amazing how shocked his work colleagues were who expected a big service and catered event, but his friends absolutely understood.
None of this will effect me - when you read obits and are told of those who have died they all sound like candidates for sainthood. That's not me.
I'm not having a funeral, if the medical research people don't want me it will be a cremation without a service. I am not sure what little brother will do with my ashes, we put my dad in Loch Earn.
The important thing is that I have left him my two cats to look after. He said that he will "take care" of them.

Well I like when my family gets together for a bit of a do and I'm not going to deprive them of one.....so I expect a large turnout.....and wearing black...not in mourning but just because I love black....
Lots of my music and Irish folk from the family......a couple of songs from musicals by my luvvie friends...
Better have some food to go with the wine and Guinness as they tell stories and share Gness memories....
Then into the green field just outside town....bliss ......except I'll miss it but hey ho....... :-)
