I got my firs tattoo 4 week ago. I got a small one on my forearm. I got a skin tone colored tattoo. I have been putting Aquaphor healing ointment on it twice a day since I unwrapped it. Im a tatto navouse. But it looks walked wrinkly. Is it normal for a small new tattoo to looked all wrinkly? Should change what I'm using on it? How long until I should be worried if I don't see the wrinlelynes go away? Thank

I've always used bepanthen cream. You want to use enough so that it doesn't go very dry and scabby, but not to much that the tattoo goes gooey. It's an open wound at the end of the day, so it needs to heal.

And don't pick the scabs! Picking the scabs will remove the ink underneath and create gaps in the design. It will take a good few weeks to heal properly, so be patient :-)
