Thanks for taking the time to answer and I would add mrspswayze that this is in no way a wind up but a very real problem.
I could further elaborate if I tell you I am married and have absolutely no reaction to my husband but I am certain that the allergic reactions I suffer are coming from my new lover.
I am unsure which bit of him it is that causes the allergies although seminal fluid is a definate after last weeks very dramatic reaction. I fear that I may also be allergic to his saliva and possibly his sweat since whenever I see him, even if no sexual activity occurs (other than kissing) I still get some sort of reaction like the wife of gapmoc.(previous poster) - usually itchy rash on arms and face and watery eyes.
The tests I had with the dermatologist ruled out allergy to any of the chemicals in every day toiletry items like soap, antiperspirant, shower gel, hair products, soap powder.
I am going to have to persue this further but the delicate situation I find myself in means I don't want my GP to know the cause of the allergies although I need him to refer me to another specialist to get myself sorted out if at all possible.
