...on my brother.
I've finally gotten a bit more information...from my nephew...as asking my SIL was getting somewhat limited responses.
He is slowly improving. The scary thing is that he had sepsis...this may have also been the cause of his low BP. The pneumonia has cleared, and the swelling has been reduced in his leg. The dialysis is on an "as needed" basis. It's expected he will stay in the ICU for possibly another 2 weeks before being transferred to a normal bed. He will also need physical therapy to help with walking.
This has set my mind at rest..for the time being.
