Tambo, so many people see lost loved ones when death is imminent. My husband's granddad died just before I met him. His nan instantly wanted to go, for she couldn't go on without him. She ailed for some 10 months, the final 6 weeks of which she was in hospital. Shortly before her death she was seen focusing on an area just at the foot of her bed, smiling and chatting in whispered tones. She wasn't on any heavy duty medication or end of life syringe drivers.
She was a typical black country, no nonsense lady not given to flights of fancy.
