If your other half / boyfriend / girlfriend / husband /wife became unable to have sex ever again, would you stay with them? If so, how difficult would it be for you?

Depends on how old you are, how deep is your love......
Yes. Companionship is important.
Yes I did and no it wasn't difficult at all.
Same as Woof. Had it been difficult then the relationship would have been shallow....ours wasn't.... :-)
Yes...not a problem. I love him.

Yes. She makes a great sandwich.
Yes I would stay and it would not be difficult for me in the slightest. I would be sorry for my OH that we could no longer enjoy one aspect of our relationship ( there are however ways and means) but would still enjoy the companionship a long term relationship brings.
Sex is very important to me, and my partner and I had an instant chemistry sexually but if he could never have sex again then that would just be something that we'd deal with, it doesn't stop you being close and intimate and a problem shared and overcome with someone you love can bring you closer together. As Gness said if that alone makes a difference there are cracks in the relationship anyway.
And as Kval says......a couple can be close and intimate.....as long as one of you has an imagination...... ;-)
Seedy bap, snags? :o)

In answer to the question; of course I'd stay with her. And I don't think I would give it more than a second's thought to be honest.

At least, we'd stop startling the cat of a Sunday morning.... ;o)

Yes, I too stayed - it wasn't at all difficult.
Good to hear he wouldn't chop your head off, kval :) What's happened to the rabbit/moon?
Well he might GG :)

Its lurking in my Gravatars with all the rest. I had that for years and just fancied a chance since lots of things are changing for me at the moment. I might go back to it at some point though :) x
Not difficult at all - I love him for him not for what he can give me.
I would not seek it elsewhere but be happy in the companion side of the relationship.
No way....sex is too important to be starved of.
Depending upon the status and age of the present partnership, i would either leave OR get sex extra maritally..
^^ I knew you'd be along Sqad to baulk the trend ^^ xx
I always got the impression that your wife wasn't your only source, Sqad.

Isn't this why the french had (have?) mistresses?
I think it was Kingsley Amis who said it was absolute joy the day that he hit 70 because his libido gave up on him. He said that for 50 years it was like being chained to an idiot.
If my husband sought extra sex elsewhere he would be out of the door with my boot up his jacksie.
