Allergic Reaction After Tilling.

As above, they are just tilling the fields in front of me after harvesting. Son is experiencing symptoms which arr causing him a lot of angst. Among which are a feeling of fine hairs in the throat and nose, irritation of all exposed skin making him spend hours washing in the bathroom.
Where the bits are landing there is a feeling of heat too.
I assume it's something coming out of the soil, is there anything I can get him to do or use to stop this irritation. Other than being a tad itchy myself, it doesn't seem to be affecting me anything like as much.
This is his first harvest time here, I have been here 18/19 years.

Simply get some antihistamine tablets from your local pharmacy. I recommend the 'one a day' Loratadine tablets which are dirt cheap if you buy them under that generic name (and ruddy expensive if they're 'branded').

Buenchico, I already have him on a generic Certirizene for the past week / 10 days, is there a marked difference between the two antihistamines?
Any idea what may be coming out of the soil?

Do you have a local pharmacy? They may be up to speed with what is affecting people in the local area.

It could be all the pollen from the harvested crop that is being stirred up and spread in the dust.
He has my sympathy, I back onto a farm and suffer every harvest. I take the 1 a day Loratadine, and since taking it all year I find it has not been quite so bad each time.

Cetirizine doesn't seem to do much for me. I prefer Loratadine but everybody's different. If Cetirizine isn't working for your son though, it would certainly seem worth giving Loratadine a try. At £1.90 for a month's supply, it's not going to break the bank!

Haven't seen them spray anything Ladybirder (not even the dreaded slurry yet) something is making him feel quite sick, and not wanting to eat. Will pop down for Loratidine soon.
