I’ve had ‘proper’ flu once in my life, when I was a fit young man in the Army. One can see how the effects of a particularly virulent strain would affect a person somewhat older so I don’t hesitate every year.

Thanks woofgang. I have had real debilitating flu and I caught becUse at the timei worked with children in school....sigh. However, knowing just how sensitive my body is (curse it) I am not prepared to take the chance.
