Eye Pain

Since early this morning I keep getting short jabs of pain in my right eye,repeated about every 30-40 min.Each attack gives 4 or 5 painful jabs. Does anyone know what might be causing it.?

Two commonest causes are migraine and trigeminal neuralgia.
There are many other causes, but certainly much less common than the two that I have mentioned.
Monitor the situation over the weekend.

I have this occasionally and it's unpleasant indeed, it usually settles as quick as it started - hope that's the same for you Whistonian.
