In my view one should employ the strictest caution and not assume that everything will be unchanged after Brexit, but that it seems likely it will. I think the way things are going means that there will be a period of uncertainty, not least because immigration officials may be uncertain of what the rules are. After all, the Home Office has apparently told some people that although they were granted indefinite leave to remain in the UK, that will (or has) expired and thus they will have to leave. The UK's processes and procedures are notoriously disjointed and even at times inconsistent.
