CANCER just the word itself sounds evil ,there are so many of us effected by this scourge, when I posted on nailits thread I was thinking,
Will we ever find a cure? Billions of pounds poured into trying to find a cure for years and still nothing,men on the moon technology at its best but yet nothing,maybe one day.

I would never miss my breast cancer screening.

Breast screening is useless if it is not offered to a person until they are over 50 as is the case here in RoI, I was 37 when I found a lump - 13 years to young to be even considered for breast screening. Had mastectomy and all the trimmings, couldn't depend on breast screening though - I don't smoke either and I had a good active lifestyle at that time

I don't think it's useless and will carry on with it.

HereIam,I didn't phrase that properly, breast screening is so important, it's ridiculous though that it is only offered to women over a certain age, only i found the lump myself in my 30's, it may have been too late for me to have any treatment.
