If an indigestion medicine is present in the stomach at the same time as the tablet, there's a risk that the coating will be broken down, thus resulting in the premature release of the drug.
Like Jno, I can't understand where the single hour in the final part of your post comes from. Also like Jno, I see the instructions as saying that there needs to be a 2 hour (minimum) gap between taking the tablets and taking an indigestion medicine, irrespective of the order in which the two are taken.

Bazile.......that just serves you right for reading the instructions.
Medicine is made so complicated today....when you get indigestion, then take the antacids and take your prednisolone in one dose straight after your breakfast...then.....if you don't get indigestion, sorted, if you do then take the antacid......b..locks to the 2 hour rule.
