Not really.
A bit.
Only ever had them straight after giving birth... and they were pointless x
First few days post natal.

I was thinking more for holidays, instead of taking and bringing home 20 pairs of Sloggis to wash.
Good for rustling.
Same...post natal. They weren't really comfy but I'm sure things have moved on.
Wouldn't wear them myself ;-)
Many years ago.

Not that comfy, easily disposable and thy were cheap.
Tilly...wouldn't it be easier to wash them while you're there?
"Good for holidays" My God, can you imagine the chafing? My friend had to wear them when she had a hip repacement recently. She said that it was hilarious watching the medics trying to tear them off her after the op because she couldn't do it herself. It was a long time since men had tried to rip her knickers off.
Ummm. That's what's I do. Years of experience of packing requiring the minimum of clothes. It takes only minutes to wash knickers!

Lots of travelling, one day stops. No time to get things dry, Ummmm. Paper throw away ones seems to be the way to go.
I just want to know what to buy and know that they will be comfortable to wear.

Any one got any experience of using disposable, comfortable knickers on a long travel adventure?
I recently had to wear paper knickers for a hernia op. Horrid things!
Go commando -problem solved. Buy some paper ones if you must and wear them a few days at home -see how comfortable they feel. What about your socks tights etc? will you be wearing paper socks?
It's surprising how quickly things dry in hotel bathrooms. Even over night.
Are they new fangled ? Never had them when I gave birth.
In your situation Tilly I'd use panty liners.
Just wash them, hang them up and put the hotel hairdryer on them if they are still damp
Question Author
I shall not be wearing socks or tights, Aunt Polly. Mostly, I shall be wearing lightweight trousers and sandals.
Question Author
Prudie, Panty liners may be the way to go. Good idea.
An old bread bag with holes cut for the legs, a handful of sawdust per day, do the great escape walk on the way to breakfast, problem solved.
