When I bend the fingers of my right hand and then 'unbend them' the little finger remains bent ans I have to unbend it separately Is there a reason for this?

also known as Dupuytren's syndrome, genetically driven - despite being the eldest of four in the third gen, we all suffer it, my grandfather and mother with it. Oddly so, for the rest, it's the fourth finger (wedding) - for me, it's only started this year and it's in my middle right....not too uncomfortable and first thing in the morning when I wake up (not every morning).
Thanks, sqad. Arthritis was my best guess, but it feels so odd. I was rather proud of my flexible feet and toes (I can even wiggle my little-toe separately!). I was wondering about whether or not to bother my GP. I have a sneaky feeling that a quick nip to free the tendon (as per my thumb) is the answer. Otherwise I'm facing a problem in walking - which ain't so good. :) Thank you. x
