A face to face appointment with their GP?
I am having trouble booking a face to face appointment as it is for my husband and I don't think it's feasible to discuss over zoom.
The receptionist won't even let me in to the surgery to explain or even talk to a doctor via phone.
Your thoughts please.

If you have and were declined, what was the reason?
Our surgery is only making telephone appointments and then the doctor you speak to decides if they need to see you face to face.
Surgeries are being extremely cautious about letting anyone through their doors unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Is your GP also using eConsult (which is the NHS-approved means of making initial contact with your GP)?
If so, has your husband tried using it? (If the GP then thinks it necessary to see your husband in person, he'll be given an appointment at the surgery).

I had a telephone appointment with my gp on my mobile phone. I put it on speakerphone, which is what I do with most calls now as I find it easier to hear.
When the gp called, I told him he was on speakerphone and other half was listening and may have some questions. He was fine with that and we had a very successful telephone consultation.
Maybe try that?
