Hello everyone. Got a first date on Wed with a girl I really like. We're going to a pub, but I want to make a really good impression, without being over-keen!

Be interested in her. Don't worry about being nervous, she probably is too. If you do make a gaff, eg spill your drink down your front! make sure you laugh at yourself - don't take yourself too seriously or appear to. Remember, she must like you too or she wouldn't be going out with you.

Yes just be natural and honest even if it means saying you are really nervous. Listen to her and be interested in her and you should be fine!

A date, how nice!! Make an effort with your appearence but not OTT, buy the first round of drinks but if she offers to buy a round say yes. Ask her questions about herself, tell her about yourself but most importantly of all be true to yourself. Second most important thing is to enjoy it!!
