Dizziness In Eyes

I have been feeling a little light headed lately, and find that when l roll over in bed, then open my eyes and focus on something like a ceiling light, the light seems to move quickly from side to side, which is probably my eyes moving from side to side. When l close my eyes l don’t feel dizzy. When I have laid still for a little while, the sensation goes off. What could it be?

Many,many things......none of them life threatening.
If you are taking BP tablets ,they could be the problem and if you have arthritis in the neck,then that could be the problem.
They are the two most commonest causes in your age group and from your description.
Monitor the situation for the next few weeks.

Thanks sqad, my BP has always been fine but I have arthritis so it could be that. I will see how it goes.
