Has Anyone Done The Covid 19 Test

either have a bad cold, flu but they are sending me a test kit, because i am showing signs of having the virus

To actually answer you q though I did it on my 8 year old and it was hard because she was v squirmy

spoke with GP yesterday she told me to ring 119. so i did, went through extensive questioning, and they are sending me a test.

My Daughter had it months ago - not nice at all.

bordering on the virus, explained all symptoms to GP and she said i should take the test. Smell isnt too bad, but can't taste much at all

A friend of mine has done this and she said it took her longer to put the box/package together that it has to go back in! Also it has to be posted in a particular post box as far as I'm aware. I noticed on the postbox in Tesco it asked you not to post Covid test in it. Perhaps someone on here who has had it done can be more enlightening about that.

Didn't the first home tests have to be sent via nominated couriers?

I recall Bibbiesox relating how she did her covid home test a couple of months ago.She actually said the hardest part was finding a courier service to collect and deliver it. I think.

when I did one about 5 weeks ago for my daughter, Amazon delivered it, but you did have to post it back in the special post box

I did the test a few weeks back. Though slightly uncomfortable, very simple to perform. 'Priority' post boxes are marked as such and there are many of them.

Yes Emmie I have had the test , whilst not pleasant it was easy to do, if it's the one where you saw your tonsils then your nose? I'm told there are different ones , the one up the nose made me sneeze a lot but that's nothing in the grand scheme of things, Barsel is right about the box assembly , it was like something from the Krypton Factor :0) and yes ,you book a courier online with your code on the paperwork you get, I hope yours is a negative result as mine was, take care xx
