Ordering A Death Certificate..

I want to order a recent death certificate..started to order on line but realised I had put the deceased name where mine should be.
Now it's not letting me alter it..or start a new form

Why are these things so difficult.

Theres no answer to that I guess.. time I went to my bed and tried again tomorrow.

Aren't they (death certificates) posted out automatically ? Or perhaps that doesn't happen in the UK - my husband's certificate was posted out within the month.
I agree that having to submit forms like this is a pain in the you-know-where !! And how do people who don't have access to a computer supposed to manage ??

With great difficulty these day's, Steff. They seem to take it for granted that people have a computer and broadband.

The attitude here is that all libraries have computers so get yourself down to your local .....ha !! No car and no public transport makes this difficult for so many and our entire welfare system is all on line ....too bad if you can't get on to them ....bah and humbug !!

Obviously you have a different system in the UK. Here, in Ontario, death certificates are issued by the funeral homes.

We’re fine thanks but just sort of ignoring Christmas. Haven’t seen the family for a year now so we are putting off Christmas til we’re all together. Still crafting to pass the time in the hope we can have a market next year to take some euros of the tourists.

Think I’ll be doing much the same re Christmas- I doubt whether Alex will be able to come home, I haven’t seen her since March, it’s been a long 8 months. :(

switch off, switch on and you ought to be able to start a new form. If you didn't submit the first one, I would have thought that would vanish too.

Best to order half a dozen. So many places will only accept originals rather than photocopies. That's if you're dealing with the deceased person's estate, of course.
