achey body, scratchy throat, for past 2 days. No fever though? I thought with a virus it's the fever that causes the ache - what causes the aches if its not the fever?

Ive not gone for covid test as doesn't meet the criteria etc (no cough, no fever)

burning type sensation in top of chest too (not like heartburn - more like the feeling I have in my throat). Not breathless. Just no energy.

sqad I presumed you knew EVERYthing medical lol!
LOL.....I am learning everyday, particularly from AB experts.
ache can come from inflammation (immune system response) but that does not necessarily result in fever.
Have a test. Apparently not all people with Covid suffer from these symptoms. A doctor was talking on the TV the other day and his symptoms were not the usual. He got a test and it was Covid. Covid can affect all parts of the body.
Have you got a date for your Covid jab yet Eve?
