I got a phone call from GP receptionist today saying that one of the doctors wants to speak to me regarding my diabetic control. So I've got a phone call between 9am and 10am tomorrow morning. She told me the HBA1C was 69.
I am not too surprised I have been eating rubbish during lockdown. Pain in my leg and back still bad. My mother thinks the pregablin has sent my moods unstable and thinks I need to come off it. I'm not sure whether she is right she is a very controlling woman she is quite willing to say what she thinks but when I give it back she cant cope with it.

What meds do you take for your diabetes?
Speak to your GP about the pregablin and if you do come off, do it gradually, don't just stop

I agree with bednobs...........if I remember rightly that was my opinion months ago.

The pregabalin...?....I think your mother is correct.
Try replacing pregabalin with paracetamol over the next few weeks.
See what happens.
