Getting Worried About My Memory

I have been deleting old and unnecessary emails and found some relating to a problem I had with a faulty tv and Curry's.
The whole saga involved many emails to Curry's; me travelling a 40 mile round trip to get an independent report about the tv; sending an 'intention to claim' letter by registered post and finally accepting a refund + the cost of the engineer's report. I have checked my bank statements and the refund is there.
I have vague memories of the tv not working, I can remember buying a new one but nothing else. I would have swore the tv failed 8-10 years ago.

This all happened in February / March 2019. What has happened to my memory?

memory can play tricks though, i remember being away from home when a little child, with a family who didn't like me, but on speaking to my mother about it she didn't ever remember that, said i was a clingy child - but i remember it vividly...
