My wife has just had our Covid Vaccination Cards laminated. A local man did it in five minutes free of charge. The cards are much more durable now.

Just a suggestion.

perhaps but they are so easily disposed of, mine is in my wallet, but quite honestly i forgot it was there, until i had to present it to have my 2nd vaccination. We need something better, more durable i think if one is going to travel abroad, as i don't think these cards are acceptable for same.
i don't even know where it could be done to be fair.

Are the cards exactly the same?
I've just put mine in a small clear plastic wallet which a pass book was once in.
Laminators are as cheap as chips, I did Mr Bs the other day and I’ll do mine Tom or after I’ve had my second one
Have yous had both jags?
I didn't get a card, just an appointment letter before the vaccine and a generic information sheet afterwards. I have nothing official to say I have been 'done'.
*tomorrow*

My wife found the chap by asking on our local Facebook page for recommendations. He replied & offered to do it free of charge.
Apart from being a reminder for the second jab (you get a text reminder amyway) am not sure they serve any other purpose? There hardly going to be accepted by airports etc- any covid passports/proof of vaccinnation will be on an app or official document
Never - Didn't they give you a sticker saying you had the jab either ?
I have had both jabs and getting the details tattooed on my forehead this weekend.
^ LOL.
Haha, you make me smile SK , you’re so funny
a couple of inches of sticky backed plastic will do the job if you have nowhere to keep it from disintegrating! Cheap too!

We do not have smart phones or apps so our cards are our only proof that we've had our jabs. We are too old now to travel overseas again.
when I go on the gov website and put in my details it tells me when I had my first jab and when my next one is, and my mate whose had both gets told both dates, so NHS and I and government (and Bill Gate's and the new world order, world economic forum) have my record. Am not sure anything more will be needed
I really cant see handwritten cards, some with handwritten crossings out on, been required as proof of anything.
They're only really a record of vaccination date and vaccine batch number. Anyone could get hold of blank ones and fill them in - they don't hold any official purpose.
They're no proof - I could write in the 2nd vac and nobody would know any different.

Personally I would prefer the opposite approach - the establishment of a Vax Offenders Register for those who (unless having a good reason to be exempt) refuse to be vaccinated - they are the ones spreading it and providing a breeding ground for mutants to develop - i.e. they are the enemy in the war against the Virus, the traitors.
