Itching Near The Front Of My Ankle?

Area is fairly small around an inch by a half, but only itches at night while in bed!
- Can I rule out a connection with liver function?
I don’t take any alcohol - male and 76 years. Reasonably healthy diet and take mild daily Excersise ....

Your description of that skin lesion is unlikely to be due to liver problems.
Unless of course we are not getting your complete medical history.

Could it be something as simple as a patch of dry skin?

Thank you all for input!, Sqad - your answer is the one I’m relieved to hear....I do have HT and mild fibrosis. Some allergies- though that seems to be declining.
I never thought of a “dry skin” patch!
We do have a fluffy cat, but she never sleeps all night on our bed- usually five mins or thereabouts...

A little 1% hydrocortisone cream which you can buy without a prescription twice daily should sort out your skin problem.
