yansee, that is brilliant to read, go you! I bet you feel years younger for it all too. You must be a walking advert for Wales NHS Morriston! Long may they continue to help others. I am really pleased for you and you must be the ideal patient. Keep up the good work, young man ;)

Yes and yes. Absolutely nothing to worry about concerning the procedures. Angiogram and angioplasty are very similar, the latter taking a little longer. Both are done under a local anaesthetic and are not considered as major surgery. Bypass surgery is a different matter but you just need to wait and see what the angiogram results are.
It should make a world of difference to you.

choux , here`s my follow up , i had the angiogram and they found my arteries 90% blocked ,i was put straight on strict bed rest for 7 days until the blood thinners they gave me were out of my system i then had a triple bypass . they said my heart was a ticking timebomb and a wonder i hadn`t had a fatal attack, Phew i was lucky , i`m now home and recuperating slowly
I missed your follow up, yansee until tonight. You are one lucky man. You needed that op for sure and at least there was no long wait for it. I hope that your recovery is a full one and you feel so much better soon. It can be a slow process to get over the op but you can do it. Great to read your progress. My very best wishes to you :)
