Don't know if I am on the right page but does anybody know how to measure for a bra ? I used to know but have forgotten the details. I remember you had to measure under the bust as well as round the bust and by finding the difference in measurements would decide the cup size. Anybody have any idea please ?

That's right, and always try bras on, they should be comfortable on the poorest books so as the elastic weakens you can use the inner ones.
Only a guide bras can vary between styles and manufacturers

The last time my wife went for a bra fitting she was hearing her favourite 42EE bra.
She was somewhat bemused to come home with new 34H bras. Oddly, she said the new ones were just as comfortable as her old ones.
Remember many moons ago when i was buying a rather sexy bra for my then girlfriend as a Valentine's day pressie (ok, for me, really). The female assistant asked me what size she was and, cupping my palms against my chest, i replied, "About one and a half handfuls." :-) Always thought that's how thy were measured :-J
Then there was the bloke who asked for a size 13¾ for his girlfriend. The assistant asked where he had the size from. He took off his hat and showed her the 6⅞ label, and said. One just fits in here so I doubled it.
