i also get dizzy quiet alot of the time i dont smoke or take drugs and only drink every other weekend
You definitely need to see a doctor. You don't say how old you are but if of middle age and over these headaches combined with memory loss could possibly be signs of a mini stroke or other circulatory problem. Have you ever suffered from migraines? These also sometimes cause short term memory problems. Anyway go and see your doctor and get this fixed. It's nothing to feel silly about and anyway your taxes are paying for the NHS so go and use it! Good luck

im only 18 years old i used to have bad migraines when i was 15 and would pass out on the floor but they went for ages do u know any reasons for memory loss?
This may sound like an odd question, but have you had any head trauma??? Car accidents? when passing out did you hit your head.... that sort of thing.

Hi Rachel, There are lots of possible causes for memory loss and headaches and it can be affected by a number of factors, it may simply be lack of sleep; fatigue due to over-work, lack of exercise, or stress-related, or poor diet.
There are any number of vitamins/minerals deficiencies or overdoses for that matter which can give these symptoms but you are not going to figure it out alone, it is just too complicated, and you will need things like blood tests done.
However, memory problems can also be caused by other things...when memory lapses begin to become a regular occurrence, it is wise to dig a little deeper and seek medical advice.
Don't feel silly to go and see the Doctor !! That is what they are there for, If you think your problem is too small for them then you are wrong.

Don't feel silly about seeing a doctor for a legitimate concern. At your age, short term memory loss could be caused by many things, ranging from thyroid trouble to a brain tumor to lead poisoning, and all sorts of things in between. See a doctor and get to the bottom of things - good luck and keep us posted.
