Detox Foot Patch

I've just received a sample of one of these. The instruction is to attach it to the sole of one foot overnight. In the morning, the patch will have turned black, proving that it has drawn toxins out of my body. In just one night 40% of my health problems will have gone! It will alleviate 66 different health problems and if I carry on with this treatment for ten days at a cost of £55, I won't believe the results. Call me Mr Cynical if you like but I wonder if I just take it out of the packet and leave it on the windowsill, will it still turn black? Should the NHS invest in millions of these patches and save a fortune in medecines and hospital costs? Just asking.

You can get them to turn black by holding them in kettle steam. Heat and moisture is all that's required.

Thanks to all for the answers - and for the articles. I must confess that I am a bit disappointed. I was looking forward to waking up looking twenty years younger, pain free, with 20/20 vision and the ability to speak in tongues and complete The Times crossword in under ten minutes. Luckily, I have just received a leaflet about a new intelligent preparation which actually detects what is wrong with you and knows how to put it right. Watch this space!
