Hospital Bed At Home

It's looking like we may have to have a hospital bed at home when my husband is discharged from hospital.

We already changed from double to singles which is fine but they are both against a wall. Hospital bed will need to allow nurses/ carers to use both side of bed..our second very tiny bedroom is already crammed with other equipment he needs.

Before anyone down sizes make sure you keep this sort of situation in mind.
At this rate I'll be sleeping in the shed!!
I'm normally such an organised person I'm hating this disruption.
The other option is go into care. I really haven't the heart to do that to him. It's like turning someone out of there home.

This isnt a question just me rambling on a sleepless night of worry.

Hello, old bird. I hope you had some restful sleep last night. It must have seemed a quieter day for you unless you had some visitors.
Please tell me you are eating better. I am doing a simple Waldorf salad with slices of cooked chicken breast. It is too hot for me to cook anything today, so I am grateful for that. x

Good morning TOB and all the lovely ladies that look in x
AS ye know I am in the RoI and our second heatwave just hit really last wednesday, up until them i was following the news from UK and watching the reservoirs dry up etc., but how are all of you coping in this heat? My friend had to collect me yesterday - early so I could do my shopping in the cool - well, by time we got home, the day had heated well and it took me til almost evening to put my shopping away. I really struggle with this heat thing, I hope the rest of you are coping well enough, I know it's way hotter in the UK so everyone stay as hydrated as ye can, do as little as ye must but try eat something x (hugs) Ducks
