Does anyone now wait until marriage before having sex? Or is this not the done thing anymore?

There are plenty of people in steady long term relationships who have no intention of marrying.
I'm also not convinced it's a good idea - I've never seen any figures but I'd suspect that those who didn't "sow their wild oats" and get it out of their system would be more likely to go through the mid-life crisis and end up divorced.
i think you definitely nee dto test run each other sexually before you commit to spending a life time together. If my husband to be and myself didnt have the best sex id ever had I would only be thinking about the best sex I had ever had. So surely if I married someone who it just didnt work with no matter how much I loved them, i would stray.
I am no **** and I have never cheated I just think lust is important at the start of a relationship. I believe there is a [erfectly matched monogomous relationship out there for every single person, where you will fit in every way.
yeah but even when i lost my virginity i knew that was rubbish. In fact it never got better with him, cause we couldnt bring the experience of other partners to the bedroom. I think one night stands (as bad as that sounds), previous partners, the odd fumble with a good friend male or female adds to your expertise as a lover.
Sex is wonderful if its safe.
