Please accept my apologies for not being more forthcoming before now. Lynne has now said that I can let you know what's going on.

She has multiply-sited carcinomas & has been diagnosed terminally ill. She left hospital with the express wish that she was allowed to come back to her home & that she didn't want any further treatment.

I'm with her 24/7, she has carer visits several times a day, the District Nurses are on the ball & on call, her GP is checking up on her & Marie Curie nurses are now helping us at night.

I try my best to keep Lynne up to speed with the nonsense that is AB & can say with confidence that she misses you all very much.

I would request that you don't ask for more info because I don't want to appear rude by not answering all your questions, but will try to keep up as best I can.

I too read between the lines as I realised that Mamy wasn't posting herself as just wasn't well enough.

I am sorry to hear this Lik and Mamy and I hope you have as painless journey as can be - it is great to have good carers around her too.

I will miss her as she gave so much great advice, clarity and so much levity. You are missed Mamy - really sorry to hear of this heartache. xxx

I feel so upset reading this. I felt a connection to Mamya. Such a kind & thoughtful soul, with a good sense of humour & fun. Also her love of music, a lot of us share with her. Always look forward to her late night thread. She is always in my thoughts. I know she is getting the best care and is being kept as comfortable & pain free as possible. So sad, being honest I had to look up carcinomas (today) not knowing exactly what it were, I knew a dear on-line friend was very poorly and did suspect what it might be reading L.I.K.S' posts. My thoughts and best wishes will remain with you both Xx
