At the moment friend's brother is in hospital recovering from symptoms of the above. He was found collapsed in his apartment but can't stop shaking and shaking and brain is all over the place talking nonsense. Friend is worried that hospital can't give him something to calm him down but like what do I know but I think - if hospital can't treat this quickly as it could do something to his heart.
She doesn't think he will ever get home but will have to go into a care home. She's devastated over that. Any thoughts.
Not married no children etc.

I haven't seen my friend and just got talking to her last night as I have had no phone for weeks. He is still rambling - has to be turned over in bed cos he can't move - has chronic diarrhoea so he now has a feeding tube up his nose and down his throat and because of rawness of back passage has a tube up it.
Hasn't smoked for 40 years but wanted a cigarette last week - nurse pretended to give him one, think it was a vape, he wanted to know how to light it.
So who knows what way it is going to turn out as doctors just gave him hours to live some weeks ago. That's the latest.
