Ropinirole Side Effects

Someone I know has been prescribed the above for severe restless legs syndrome.
They definitely help with that but the side effects are becoming increasingly difficult to cope with.
A couple of questions…does anyone here take this for restless legs, and if so did you experience any side effects? If you did, did they eventually wear off or are you stuck with them?
Also, they come in slow release form and instant. Would anyone know if the two kinds would differ in their side effects…would one have more sever or long lasting side effects than the other? Or would it make no difference.
