I'm quite concerned how thin my hair has become.

All my life I've had very thick hair, but this last few weeks it's become so thin I can see my scalp!.

Until recently is was in excellent condition, shiny and manageable  but now lays limp and lifeless.

I'm quite worried at the pace its happening.

I'd appreciate any advice for thickening it again.

I'm female,we don't do bald heada ..))

In the first instance I would be contacting the GP and getting some bloods done. You may need referring the Endocrinologist.
Maybe ask your GP for a blood test re thyroid trouble. Can cause hair to become thin.
Check your iron levels
In my limited opinion, I find that hormonal and medical conditions are not commonly associated with thinning hair.
Family genetic makeup (family characteristics) tension, anxiety and depression are more common causes.

See you GP.
Hormones definitely do play a role. I lost lots of hair after ratboy was born - as do most women.

I didn't say that hormones don't play a role in thinning hair, I said that they are not commonly associated with medical conditions.

I don't consider childbirth a medical condition.
