Does anyone know please why you can't hear yourself snoring? I know it's not because you're asleep already, because my hubby often starts while he's dozing off.

Probably because you are sleeping
Well you can sometimes because it wakes you up.
my dad frequently wakes himself up snoring!
My dad wakes himself up snoring too.. maybe you get used to the sound of your own snoring whilst asleep! My ex used to always fall asleep with the telly on and it never bothered him but when we started dating I hated it but after 5 yrs I got so used to it that now I cant sleep without it on.
I waken myself with my snoring - particularly bad when you are on a sun bed and you clatter your head of the lid cos you have startled yourself.Ouch!!Dont do sun beds now.
