Erm. Just about two weeks ago and now I have noticed that if I run my fingers through my hair it is falling out. Not batches but enough strands to frighten me. Even as I type there is a few hairs on the fingers. I was on blood clotting injections for 10 days but that's the only med I can find that can cause hair loss. I did have good hair. Any ideas please and thanks

Have you been washing your hair less than usual since your accident?
You lose lots of loose hairs when you wash it, and when you don't wash it you notice more coming out when you brush it or run your fingers through it

No Barry the opposite. Today was first time in a week

It even feels fine at the scalp
Today was the first what in a week?
i think you may have misunderstood what barry said. if you are washing your hair less, you notices more coming out when running uoir fingers through as you didnt lose it when washing it.
Do you have any bald patches?
It maybe to do with the stress you’ve been under lately, stress can cause it.
of course getting older and stress can also influence hair, and you've certainly had stress in the last few weeks!
there are plently f shampoos that claim to give you better hair there was one on the telly last night called Plantur 39 or something claiming you see less hair on the brush!
I'm with Vagus ^^^

I hope you're all right. I'd look a right baldy basket

Bednobs. Don't want to see hair on a brush. Want to see it on ma head
Jenny, did that happen to your mother too when she got older?
jenny, think about it - the more you stress the more lair loss. There are worse things to suffer and I think people are more understanding about thinning hair.

Have a look here (sorry Sqad x)

It is worth a read and tells us in a nutshell to live with the problem, not to go for miracle cures.

No she had great hair. Copper lustre out of a packet was her colour
Also, something to remember is that if it is caused by stress, once things have settled down the hair loss will stop and your hair should return to its normal self. It’s happened to me three times over the years for various stressy reasons.
Question Author
Barry when I said. It feels fine at the scalp. I meant thin
