Over the years I've found that people can get very envious and jealous just because they find me intelligent. Some people would think it only happens to the rich and famous, but I've found thats not always the case.

He owns his own I.T company, and I regularly hear him on the phone, or in a Zoom meeting , and I have absolutely no idea what he is saying - he could be talking double-Dutch!!I often wonder why on earth he's with me, but I put it down to my sparkling wit & personality!! ; ) ; )
I've fitted my own double glazing; fitted a new bathroom suite, including shower; fitted wardobes in our main bedroom; converted my loft. I am not a tradesman but does all of that qualify me as intelligent? Incidentally, I had a qualified electrician to wire in the shower, and a roofer to fit the loft window.
Nicebloke, you clearly have a lot to be modest about.
Even though I consider myself fairly intelligent, I would not boast about it and I certainly don't think anyone would be jealous/envious of the fact. However, over the years, I have
found some people can be jealous/envious of a multitude of things in one's personal life. It puzzles me!
In what scenarios, Nicebloke, have you found people being
jealous/envious of your intelligence - workplace, social circle,
family, etc.?
Because "all men have not faith," the "crab mentality," is a seemingly unavoidable dilemma. It presents all appearances of what we describe as a "Catch-22."
For those deciding to believe, like Peter in Matthew 14, we will experience miraculous times when we can rise above and "walk on water." These happen when we see beyond the five senses' negatives and realize miracles can become a reality when we believe.
