- Smokers who think they can disguise the smell with cheap purfume, you can't disguise it you stink full stop!

Now stand by for Bernardo's list of 150 probably 200 by now!
got to be eating noises that do my head in every time. Especially soup slurpers. not good.
Why do hotels insist on leaving bowls of hard sweets out on the tables in meeting rooms? You end up sitting relatively close to each other and have to listen to various wet crunching and sucking noises from the people around you. I hate it. We even have one woman at work who is nicknamed "nurse shark" because of the extreme sucking noises she makes- they can be heard from the opposite side of the meeting room. So hotels- do us all a favour- desist with the sweets NOW
I have to agree with loosehead.
My husband smokes cigars. yuk! Even if he smokes it first thing in the morning and I don't see him until the evening I can still smell it. In fact it's probably even worse then but he thinks I am paranoid because maybe he has eaten a mint or sprayed some aftershave or something on. THE SMELL STILL GETS THROUGH. sorry.
Most already covered, but worth emphasising:
middle-lane hoggers on motorways
non-use of indicators (especially by London's wonderful black-cab drivers)
together with :
the "Grocers' Apostrophe"
unsolicited sales calls (despite signing up to the TPS)
and the AB favourite pet hate....
failing to read down the board before posting a question
Preachers - those people who kick up a big stink because somebody has done something (or posted on answerbank) that they disagree with, they go on and on like they are the law or chief of morallity.
At the end of the day they are hardly going to change the world (if even the individual they are ranting at) so why bother ?
Some people need to get out more !.
Have just thought of another, which REALLY annoys me. When I'm in a queue at a supermarket checkout and have loaded my stuff onto the checkout belt, then thoughtfully put a divider about 3 inches behind my stuff, to save the next person from doing it. Why then do they feel the need to lift the divider and shove it up tight against my shopping and pile their stuff against it on the other side? For the sake of what- 4 inches space? Why people, why?
It's a thing about personal space- another pet hate, especially in supermarket queues when people step up next to you when you are writing a cheque or putting in a pin number. I have started leaving a "trailing leg" when I step forward in the queue, so they kick it and have to apologise.
Rant over
Agree with most of the answers on here, will add a few of my own
People who show different amounts of respect for people just because they may be a different skin tone or homeless or have a disability.
people who lie I utterley cannot stand liars.
and definitely cannot stand people who invade my personal space.
My boyfriend says I am a noisy eater oopps! nothing has to be as bad as his snoring though.........
it really annoys me when people just blatantly ignore your question coz they are watching tv or something, also people that dont listen to you when they have called you on the telephone and they talk to someone in the background.
leaving doors open. Do we live in a barn?????????? Mind you I worked with a guy who this irrated so much he actually put his foot through the door once trying to close it in a temper after someone left it open!
i think the most annoying thing is when people dont answer your phone call on purpose i.e when they are mad at you or something. this infuriates me and makes me ring them over and over again just to pi*s them off. ignore me at your peril..............
in fact thinking about it i have a bit of a problem with mobile phones i think. like when someone gets a message and starts laughing and goes " it's nothing". irrating. guess i'm just nosy.......also when people leave a message going " hi its me ( really? ) er guess your not in ( really?) er anyway just ringing for a chat, nothing important, call me back" then you have to pay to listen to that on your answerphone, and then pay to ring them back!!! People! I can tell you have rung coz your number shows and i guess you want me to ring you. Save me some money!!!!! also people that dont text you back coz " they've got no credit". and you have to ring them anyway.....
AAAARRRGGHH yes a mobile problem I think......
i agree with the earlier message about using text language. my mum does it, well her version of it and i have to ring her to ask what she put.
