Neck Rash

I woke up yesterday with a pale pink neck rash not painful or itchy.

Woke up this morning, the rash is more pronounced and i have a pain from the right side of my neck into my shoulder - of course I could have just slept in a strange position (especially with a clingy geriatric cat)

Have take pain killers will dig out the antihistamines but how long do I monitor the situation for?

I have googled the shingles rash and my rash doesn't look anything like that.

i will go to the pharmacy tomorrow and get their opinion.

How's your rash today Helen, has it developed further or dying down?

Its remains the same - resembles more a case of prickly heat.

So will probably just leave it till wednesday

thank you and my sore shoulder I believe was down to sleeping at an angle to allow her ladyship to sleep how she wants too

Anne, pharmasists are being overused now and large queues are forming.  They have been given new responsibilities and are taking on procedures doctors would have normally done.  They are complaining and I dont blame them.   Not sure if this will apply to Scotland.  They are also having trouble with obtaining drugs and struggling to pay for drugs and the NHS has not increased their contribution to prescription drugs.
