If you are interested in actual costs.. the cost that the NHS incurs is about 80p for a monthly supply of 21 pills. The newer contraceptive pill, which is supposed to be safer and reduces weight gain, is about �1.20 . The emergency pill costs a whopping �12-15 if bought privately.
