Good Morning Wednesday Birds - Especially Anyone Who Wants To Join In That Doesn’t Usually!

Good morning everyone! Am hoping that we get some AB'ers join us that don't usually - they all seem to join in the inane threads that get over 300 answers to god knows what lol!

Anyway, hazy sunshine here at the mo &  looking promising , but definitely nippy! Have our window cleaner turning up this morning - quite how he still does the job amazes me. The guy drives me nuts but he is 80 old & as a fiddle. Only looks about late 60's, full head of hair & whizzes up & down his ladders like a teenager! But he will not stop talking!! Literally doesn't stop for a second lol. But as subtle as a brick - when I was on seriously high dose steroids last year which caused me to gain weight rapidly he turned up one day after not seeing him for 6 weeks & the first thing he said was " Christ love you've put on some weight haven't you?". Perked me up no end.......not!!

Anyway, what's everyone's plans today, any dinner ideas yet??

Hi Smow. Rude window cleaner! 
My previous window cleaner was in his 80s and I always thought he might die immediately. I had to watch him all the time. He'd go up his ladder and take about 15 minutes to recover. 
 

Anyway, I've just had a lovely weekend with my two little grandsons. I'm glad to be back in my own bed, though 😀

I once saw our window cleaner sail sideways across the front window to land on the lawn. I rushed, screeching, outside to see him leap to his feet and say" It's alright I do parkour"!

Good morning, this reminds me we need to find a window cleaner.

Bathroom cleaning this morning, a job I hate for some reason, will continue taking the sofa apart for disposal.  Then this afternoon we are going to a local hotel where a Company holding an event to buy all old silver and gold.  They have held events all over the area lately and seem to have good reviews.  Not much to lose, 3 boxes of silver spoons we have acquired and some old wedding rings that look like curtain rings and I can't  the life of me remember which relative they belonged to.

Sorry no inspiration for our dinner tonight so not much help.

Hi Clover - yep, I was NOT pleased with him, the fact that what he said was true was irrelevant lol, it just didn't need pointing out!

Hi Impatiens - I had to google parkour! Didn't realise it was called that. Christ he must have been fit then!

He does seem to be Smow. We were far more shaken than he was and went into full forcing hot sweet tea and a sit down on him mode!

Good morning ubasses. You've reminded me of the TV ad where the woman goes thru her loft and finds some bits of jewellery, watches etc and send off for cash payment(can't remember name of company), and I always wonder what sort of money they pay.

Sorry, a bit late to the party this morning. They still have not taken the scaffolding down but noticed the work they did on the roof made the windows very mucky. Hope our window cleaner comes when its gone. He doesnt climb ladders but uses a jet wash brush type of  thingy.
