Finger nails.
I have managed to grow my nails but they do not grow white. They are more opaque, sort of see through. They are hard and quite strong. There is now splitting. I have tried using a white pencil but cannot get on with them. My nails look good with varnish on but I would love to just have natural looking nails. Does anyone else have this problem and is there anything I can do about it?

I find whitening pencils make my nails flake, no idea why!
I have very long nails and they are not pure white, only as you say opaque on the end. However they to have some flexibilty to them so they don't break that often. Best advise I can offer is to keep them a reasonable length but not too long, that way they'll always look nice and they'll get stronger!
Good luck!
