Sorry if this sounds offensive or pornographic, but does the colourless sticky liquid that women secrete when they have orgasm actually have an official name?

Strangely, it doesn't really have a name because medical research has not yet understood the female orgasm and the subsequent flow of moisture.

Some researchers believe the liquid may be a combination of
1)urine that undergoes a chemical process that changes its composition during sex.
2)fluid from the paraurethral glands that surround the urethral opening and may account for the slightly sweet taste.
3)an expulsion from the vagina itself, due to a sudden reduction in its size as a result of muscle contraction. This latter fluid is sometimes called vaginal sweat, which is a rather unflattering term.

My ex husband used to call it 'Venus Wine', but he was French and it sounded more romantic than it looks in print.

I remember a whole dicourse on this years ago in She Magazine and Dr David Delvin I think it was concluded that there was a difference between the normal lubrication that women have and which increases during arousal, and the liquid which as you say they can have during orgasm - a sort of mini ejaculation. I seem to recall he even got them to send in samples, whether that was for his own .. er entertainment who knows! Anyway I do not know the term for it but there is sure to be one, although some doctors said that it did not exist and that it was all the same thing, hence the protestations from varous women with accompanying samples !!!!

Hey I remember this thing in She magazine years ago; I remember the doctor urged readers to seal/package their samples properly because some had arrived broken and, he wrote, "poor postman"; I did not know if it was more hilarious or embarassing.

When they were telling us about the dangers of AIDS in the 80s they referred to it as vaginal secretions, and that was from an official goverment source, so that must be right. I have yet to see this for myself though.
