When ever I lean on my arms against something such as a table, a few hours later I get really bad achey pain in my arms, nothing I do can releive it, and after about 5 hours it goes. I try my best to avaoid leaning on this but sometimes it cna't be avoided. When I saw my GP a year ago he said it was tennis elbow, but I'm not convinced.

Any suggestions? (my mother suffered with carpel tunnel syndrome for years - but I didn't think it was hereditry)

Carpal syndrome is in fact a congenital predisposition.

Unless you are a tennis player (and I mean professional, 6-hours-a-day-practice-on-the-court tennis player), get a second opinion.
