Car accident...
I had a bad car accident on Monday, where I hit the central reservation of the M1 head-on at 70mph (lorry cut me up). Luckily I came out without a scatch- although I have whiplash in my back and neck now. Since yesterday I have also been in agony with my legs. I have pain all down the front of both of them and it's very strange but it sometimes feels like I've got a cold, wet patch in different places on them. When I touch them though, they're warm and dry!!
Obviously shaken up, but has anyone heard of this before? Thanks everyone

However,if you are concerned, which you obviously are I would see my GP.The pain does sound like whiplash but I wouldnt take any chances and I think you need your mind put at ease more than anything.
Good Luck - let us know how you get onx
You poor thing!! must have been terrifying.
I would get back to the doctors or hospital straight away.
You could easily have twisted your pelvis or spine and this could be putting pressure on the nerves and restricting circulation. Your doctor or hospital should x ray you, if they say all is clear and they don't have any answers for you, I would advise going to a chiropractor or physiotherapist.
Hope you feel better x
With an accident like that, the police must have taken details. If you told them at the time that you were unhurt, now tell them that you have an injury. If you do need to make a claim, it will help if the injury is in the police report (of which the insurance companies and lawyers will get a copy).

Thanks all of you so much for your kind words and advice. I think I will definitely start a diary about the pain, etc.
I went back to the doctor and explained to him about my legs, and he has pretty much said it's the same as what you had all told me- nerve damage. I didn't ask him whether it might be something permanent though- bit all over the place.
On another note, does anyone have anyone they could recommend for claiming for my injuries? I have had companies phoning me already but I'm not sure who is trustworthy.
Thanks again all of you, you're so sweet to help.
