Does anyone else feel they have known some of the people on this site for a long time or that the other person has experienced near on the same life as them? I feel I have the same views all the time with Smudge, Andy-Hughes, englishbird and natalie_1982 and I've yet to find anythingwe really disagree on.

Ah, that's very nice of you 4getmenot - likewise! -x-

Yes-there are a few people on this site I couldnt have a cross word with because apart from the affinity you have you would never want to hurt their feeling and I respect their views.

I also have an affinity with a person on the site who 'gets me' but still on occasion we cross swords but never keep it going because I wouldnt want that to happen.Like an old married couple except we are both gay - ah well:)

Same applies here Drisgirl - except we're not gay - not that that matters a jot! - everyone to their own!

I think thats one thing that sets me apart too. Alot of people are homosexual on here but I find there views amazing and actually really in depth with lots of feeling. And just maybe the people we clash with we do so because we are too alike. :-)

I've only been on this site a short while and to be honest, it's proved to be something of a godsend to me. I recently moved a long way from friends and relatives and started a new job, so have little opportunity to chat as i used to.

Without sounding too gushy, the likes of 4getmenot, smudge, drisgirl, englishbird, andy-hughes and crofter (to name but a few) give me hope that we're not turning into the inward-looking society that i'm afraid my daughter may grow up in.

I've enjoyed reading and posting on the topics here, lmao (thanks smudge, again!) at W-M and JL's ongoing b!tch-fest, and felt that there's something akin to a sense of community here.

just like to say Thanks.

Cheers Trojanforce, I think our paths have crossed too on many a great discussion. :-)

I delve in to Answerbank pretty much once a week (if the boss is out). Every time I see an intriguing post and scan peoples replies I am always pleased to see something from Andy-Hughes, Englishbird, GraceAnais, Jno, Smudge as I really value their views and look forward to hearing their opinions.

Even though I dont contribute as much as I would like to, its refreshing to know there are such caring, honest and open-minded people about. Who have helped me out on numerous occasions.

Reading your posts always makes me smile. x

Well, thank you Trojanforce & JoCannon, you've brought tears to my eyes!

I used to get lots of 'thank you' notes from the staff at work, for taking the time to talk them through any problems they had. It was always nice to see them walk out of the office smiling & laughing again.

Mind you, I've had times when I've needed a shoulder to cry on - just glad I have a loving family & friends. Oh, & my cyber-friends of course!

*Sorry Trojanfarce!
I came across this site by accident one day and now I think its one of the best websites out there. I've learnt so much and everyone is really nice and helpful. Im also gay and its good to have opinions from all angles. That andy-hughes seems to be the font of all knowledge!

Yeah I have to agree. I haven't been a member that long but now I am I can't keep away! Whenever I ask my boyfriend a question he jokingly replies 'why don't you ask the committee?'

I love seeing the regular people on here and the advice is great, awww it's getting soppy.... :)
