imitation cigarettes

I am trying to stop smoking and I have been looking everywhere for an imitation cigarette that looks and feels like a real one. Can anyone help me please.

Hey, herbal ciggies are just as bad for you as normal!

My friend and I tried to give up smoking, we bought some "fake" cigarettes from a herbal shop, apparently made using marshmallows. We then went to the pub and had our usual pint and fag. However, these marshmallow things stank like ****! People were not impressed and there is no kick from them plus you have to inhale as if you are about to die. Really not pleasant!!!! Have you tried patches or gum? Or sheer will power?????

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried patches, inhalers thingies, gum, sheer willpower and herbal cigs but I think I miss the feel of a "real" cigarette. I know there was somewhere a couple of years ago that sold fake ones, they looked and felt just like the real ones but obviously you could not light them, just for holding and feeling it in your hand. Just a tactile feeling after smoking for so long.

As happi_red has intimated, herbal cigarettes are a waste of time, as they don't satisfy the craving for nicotine, if you can't make a clean break, and the majority of smokers who want to stop, fall into this catagory, see your GP, he/she can give you a prescription for one of the nicotine product from the chemists.

try using a tampon, The thouight of pulling one out and using it as a tab, will make you stop smoking!

...when I quit(with the help of patches ) I still felt as if I needed something to occupy my hands so I bought some real liquoricce sticks (the kind that look like bits of twig )... and chewed a bit on these , holding it in the same way I did a fag...got some strange looks at work...but hey , who cares it worked...good luck...

When i was giving up smoking my friend bought me a fake cigarette from the bettaware catologue, but not sure if they still sell them.
